Before you Apply:

We have now reopened our application section with the release of WoTLK, BUT before you submit an App to Rising Sun there’s a few things I’d like you know to about us:

First and foremost, Rising Sun IS a PVE Raiding guild, but with that being said, we are not a Hardcore, clear everything ASAP guild. We like to see new content and gear up like everyone else but real life obligations come first. Elitists are NOT and will NOT be welcome in our guild…. if you’re the type that can’t deal and gets pissed when raids aren’t wipe free or we have people that are new to a raid/instance in the group with you and haven’t “Done this f#$king fight a thousand times OMFG IS SO EASY LAWL”, then don’t bother applying.

Rising Sun, as you will quickly learn if you are chosen to join us as a Trial Member, is run as a tight knit group of friends and family and try to keep “Having Fun while progressing” as one of our main goals on a day-to-day basis. No one will ever yell at you for not knowing a fight that’s new to you and you will not be required to be on for 15 hours a day while we are attempting new content.

Also, PVE is not the only aspect of the game that we focus on…we have members that also focus mainly on Arena and PvP, and group PvP is a common weekend occurrence…so if you are looking for some fun in BGs and Arenas you’re welcome to apply as well.
